Students in Mrs. Murray’s, Mrs. Weiser’s, and Mrs. Torrence’s class did a fantastic job presenting their poems.
Please see the attached school supply lists. The supply list is basic; your child’s teacher may request specific items in September.
It is your choice as to where you purchase the supplies. You are most welcome to order through Creative Children as a convenient option; please see the instructions. Orders to Creative Children are due June 20, 2017.
Your child will also need indoor shoes for gym.
Survey: name for new elementary school in Albion area of Maple Ridge
On February 24, 2017, the Ministry of Education announced funding for a new elementary school in the Albion area of Maple Ridge. The school is scheduled to open September 2019.
The Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows Board of Education would like your input on a potential name for this new school. You can rate the three proposed names or suggest an alternate name through our online survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6995T7D.

The Jump Rope for Heart Event raised over $3,000 for the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation. Pledges can still be made online and pledge envelopes can be returned until this Friday, May 5, when the final count for donations will be made.
The PAC Sponsored Super Hero Dance Party raised over $2,350 for PAC funded projects! Amazing fun was had by all.
The Global Citizens are hosting Wacky Hair Day on Friday, May 5. Donations will be collected for Haiti, this year’s chosen Global Cause.
