A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL & VICE PRINCIPAL

Welcome to the 2009/2010 school year at Golden Ears Elementary and a special welcome to families entering Golden Ears for the first time.  We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with you and your children to help them achieve their “personal best,” but also to have the opportunity to continue building relationships with the families in our community.  Along with Mrs. Scoular (our new vice principal) and the entire staff at the school, we look forward to making this a fabulous year.  Together, we welcome a wonderful group of Kindergarten students to the school and we look forward to helping them enjoy a successful transition to public education.
As we enter this year, we will continue helping students improve their personal motivation to learn, succeed and be involved.  We will also continue to work at our major school goal of improving student writing.  Your home support would be greatly appreciated.
We look forward to meeting you and working with students, parents and staff to maintain the Golden Ears culture of being a safe, welcoming and effective school.
