It is now time to officially get excited about the Olympics coming to Vancouver.  To help with that, the Torch is going to pass through both of our communities on Monday morning (Maple Ridge at around 7:00 am and then to Pitt Meadows at around 8:15).  Hopefully we will have many of our families out along the torch route to experience this once in a lifetime event.  To help us show our Canadian Spirit, everyone is asked to wear something red or white on Monday along with any other Olympic apparel you may have.  Should be very exciting and don’t forget to come to one of the Spirit Squares to be part of the fun, the entertainment and the food.   The Olympic Mascots have been showing up in a variety of places over the last few weeks to help us all get excited for Monday morning and even more excited for the actual Olympics which of course begin on Friday.  Go Canada Go!!!!
