NEW STUDENT SCHEDULE FOR September 2017

SRT teachers and students have spent considerable time this year to find a student schedule (bell Schedule) that will support student learning.   In light of new curriculum and new competencies we have added a FLEX Block to the existing schedule.   We feel that this model:

  • Supports self-directed learning
  • Provides ongoing opportunity for personalized learning
  • Provides a structure that supports the secondary curriculum changes
  • Focuses on Learning
  • Engages our new learners
  • Providing a time for Student Centered Activities
  • Adds a FLEX Block with the focus for students to Play,  Pursue a Passion or Have Purpose (Focus on their immediate needs)
  • Reduce the amount of time in a class to meet the needs of the students (From 80 Minutes to approx. 65 Minutes)

Note that start and end times are at the same time as always.

Flex Timetable     The Timetable will take affect for Sept. 2017.
