Summer UBC Future Global Leaders is a two-week, pre-university program at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Designed for teens ages 15-18, this intensive academic program helps you develop critical skills to succeed in an academic environment, and encourages you to aspire to be a leader in our increasingly global world. You also have a lot of fun. Attend classes taught by UBC professors and instructors, develop your intercultural communication and leadership skills, and participate in social and cultural activities with other students from a wide range of backgrounds, countries, and cultures. For summer 2017, choose from seventeen two-week academic courses. Opt to stay in a UBC campus residence, or commute to campus daily. Summer Jazz Intensive at Douglas College: For students 14 years and up who have had at least 3 years of playing experience. This program runs the third week of August.
