Attention grade 10s: make sure you budget your time as we approach spring break. You will be in an ICBC and RCMP assembly during flex on Thursday. Plan ahead, and make sure your work is done!

Reminder to all students: You are welcome to wear school appropriate hats though we kindly remind you not to pull your hoodies over your head.  We love to see your smiling faces.  Please keep your hoods down while at school.

Attention all grade 9 students. If you have completed your 1st assignment of the pick 5 employers, please hand that into the office.

GRADE 11’s: If you currently have a part-time job or are involved with volunteer work, please let the Career Centre know. We’d like to help you work towards getting work experience in Grade 12.

Just a reminder to all students, parking is available in front of the tennis courts and in the parking lot off of 123rd.  Please do not park in staff-designated areas or in the fire lanes.

Just a reminder that we all share the hallways, change rooms, and the washrooms, so it is all our jobs to make sure we take care of this place and take care of each other. Thank you.

A reminder that there are to be no phones at all during PE classes and absolutely no video recording of classes dancing – if you use your phone during class it will be taken straight to the office for the day. Thank you from the PE team.

If you have skateboards and scooters, please make sure to secure the boards in your lockers and scooters must be put away for the day. To prevent accidents in the hallway, these items must not be ridden in the hallways. These will be kept for the day if they are used inside.

A reminder to all students: when you are inside the building, please make sure you remove your hoods.

The Re/Max Quest for Excellence bursary program is now open for 2018 grads. There are 12 bursaries of $1000 to be awarded to students who have shown leadership in their community. Grade 12 Graduates! The School District 42 Scholarship Book is now available online. Check on the Westview Career Centre or the School District website for all the details of the Scholarship book, along with any additional awards we receive from now until graduation, so please check there periodically. Student Transcripts

Starting September 24, 2017, the Ministry of Education will launch StudentTranscripts, a web-based service that makes secure transcript sharing between students and participating post-secondary institutions quicker and more convenient. Career Centre



Any students interested in playing Ultimate Frisbee please see Ms. Eddy in room 1028!  Additionally: Those interested in playing or trying Ultimate Frisbee; there will be a practice on Thursday (Mar 8) after school from 3 until 4 on the field.  Bring cleats, shorts and any discs you have.

All students interested in Track and Field this spring are to meet with coaches in the small gym at lunch today (Mar 6). It is a short season and will need to be up an “running” upon return from March Break.  Our season planning is impacted by the number of interested athletes so it is IMPERATIVE that you make this meeting on Tuesday if you want to run, throw or jump for the Wildcats this year!

Attention Ball Hockey players – Please get your Consent forms and money in to Mr. Hallate ASAP. The deadline is Thursday (Mar 8).

Reminder to all Rugby players – Practice today (Tues. March 6) after school on the turf. Don’t forget your mouth guards. Also forms and money must be submitted to Mr. Wood or Ms. Carlyle today (Mar 6).
