Nestled in the trees, Yennadon is a vibrant school community of approximately 570 students. While one of the larger schools in the district, Yennadon’s unique “pod” model ensures our community stays connected to each other. Four classes are built around a common area where students can meet, work, and use computers to further enhance their learning. The classes in each pod range in age. This further facilitates our goal to maintain our connections with each other. It also creates mentorship and teaching abilities in our older students while fostering a sense of belonging with our younger students.Yennadon is, and always has been, a school where we teach to “the whole child”. Students are encouraged to explore their own strengths and passions. We encourage a strong academic program alongside a vibrant social responsibility program and athletic opportunities. At Yennadon, we have the courage to demonstrate Respect, Fairness, Responsibility, Honesty, and Compassion in all we do.At Yennadon, we have a number of great opportunities and accomplishments we like to share. We are able to provide a vibrant running club which helps support are strong showing in all the district cross country and track and field events. Further, students in the older grades will have the opportunity to participate in our “We Team”, a group that works to ensure our school recognizes the needs of others both on a local and global scale. We welcome you to come and schedule a visit with us so you can see this great community in action.
